Take a look to see all events happening on Block Island from May through June!

  • Saturday, May 27th – Bake, Book & Bloom Fundraiser is coming to The Island Free Library from 9am-1pm, there will be blooms from Clark Farms, baked goods (plenty of pies!), and a great selection of books.
  • Saturday, May 27th through October 9th –“The Block Island Historical Society is thrilled to announce our new Exhibit: Reluctant Paradise, which dives into the twenty-year span, beginning with the postwar period of 1950 to the “rediscovery” of Block Island as a tourist destination in 1970.” Visit for more information!
  • Sunday, May 28th – BIMI Chowda’ Fest from 3:30pm-5:30pm at The Block Island Maritime Institute.
  • Wednesday, May 31st – June 2nd – Block Island Film Festival – starts at 9:00am on May 31st until June 2nd at 10:00am at The Block Island Maritime Institute. Please visit for schedule information and more!
  • Saturday, June 3rd – Meet famous Author Jacqueline Woodson for two events. Storytime with Jacqueline Woodson at 10:30am, & an Author Reading and Book Signing starting at 4:00pm at The Island Free Library.
  • Sunday, June 4th – Rhode Island Pride Month Pool Party from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Champlin’s Marina and Resort.
  • Saturday June 10th – Farmer’s Market – from 9:00am-11:30am at Legion Park. Every Wednesday and Saturday until the first weekend of October.
  • Monday June 19th – Friday June 23rd – Block Island Race Week – Storm Trysail Club – please visit for more information.
  • Sunday June 25th – Conserfest – from 1:00pm-8:00pm at 1661 Farm. Please visit for more information.
  • Sunday June 25th – Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Fair from 9:00am-2:00pm at 1 Bridgegate Square.
